Values That Guide Our Business
Integrity. As Wise Women, we trust in ourselves and each other. We embody our courage to speak any truths, trusting our inner knowing to make decisions.
Love. Remembering that when we give ourselves to our light and beauty, we don't have to do anything else to be who we are. When we come together, we are an unstoppable force of love and kindness. We are love when we celebrate our bodies and give freely with ease, joy, and connection.
Serenity. We work to remove obstacles around celebration and connection with bleeding. By doing this, we help create a more whole person through body integration. We are building a continual flow of ritual and celebration that glides over obstacles.
Peace. In line with our value of serenity, peace is about creating a safe space to learn about bodies, learn from others, and expand feelings of safety, connectedness, and comfort.
Diversity. Our responsibility is to stretch ourselves to be as inclusive as possible. Because of our privileges, we should strive for this in every detail of our products. We are making decisions in the business based on celebrating and embracing diversity. We know that our choices have an impact. We open ourselves to feedback and criticism. We will not make excuses; we will own mistakes and do better moving forward.
Curiosity. Each moment is an opportunity to see and hear in a new or different way. We can call on our curiosity to learn and expand if we ever get stuck.
We commit to
🩸 source all products for our bleeding boxes, when possible, from local, environmentally conscious, women-owned, and women-of-color-owned businesses that use body-safe ingredients
🩸 return an offering of 1% of profits to bleeding causes like removing the tampon tax, providing body-safe menstrual products to communities in need, and reproductive rights
🩸 always return to our values when challenged—individually and in partnership; our shared intention is to support, listen, and be open on this journey together
🩸 having a growth mindset in celebration of yes and the practice of saying no
